(Released last August 27, 2013 & October 17, 2013 as an update to Windows 8... )

     Windows 8.1 update is needed by Windows 8 users when the support ends on January 12, 2016; to extend its reception of service support from Microsoft.

•    January 10, 2023 -  end of  extended support;
